Space Heaters Perfect For Your Home

Winter is coming! During the winter and fall I always have a space heater running in my living room, bedroom, and bathroom to save a little money on my energy bill. When I leave my home to go to work I turn off my heat or turn it down to around 60 – 65 degrees. Then once I come home I turn on my space heaters to warm up my house. I don’t like running my big central heat unit because it takes forever to warm up my house. Plus, I would normally have a $150 bill in the winter if I left my central heat running around 70 degrees in the winter time.

  • Automatic shut-off heat protection
  • Push controls on display panel for quick access
  • Easy to carry room-to-room
  • Has an eight hour timer

So just like I said in my previous blog about Space Heaters at Work, I don’t like freezing at work or at home. I currently have about three space heaters in my house that I use every day. I bought a Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater to put in my bedroom. The thing I like about this space heater is that it swivels to circulate the heat. I have a pretty big bedroom, so this works well in a corner.

  • 7 hour timer
  • Programmable thermostat
  • Easy to carry room-to-room
  • Built-In safety features

When I don’t want to get out of bed because it is cold in my bedroom, I use the remote control from my bed to start the heater. Then I hit the snooze until the room warms up. The Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater comes with a remote control, which is another reason why I love the Lasko brand of space heaters.

  • Very lightweight and easily portable from room-to-room
  • Wall-mountable option to maximize space
  • Safe heat protection with tip-over switch

Growing up with grandparents that lived far away, our family would make special trips to stay at my grandparents for the holidays. One memory I always have as a little girl after getting a bubble bath was my grandmother turning on the bathroom heater and sitting me next to it while I dried off. I was usually nice and warm once I get out of the tub because she had a gas heater in her bathroom. Old habits never die hard! So when I got my own house I decided to install a Panel Heater similar to my grandmother’s. It works well in my bathroom and is easily wall-mountable.

  • Has three heat settings with adjustable thermostat
  • Safety features to protect and prevent freezing pipes
  • Cuts your energy cost by maintaining room temperature

If I lived in New York or Chicago in a studio apartment again, I would buy another DeLonghi Safe Heat Portable Radiator. You can roll it around from room-to-room and it helps when pipes are freezing outside.

  • Perfect size for desks and small areas
  • Adjustable fan control
  • Fresh air mode for the summer
  • Two heating modes for the winter

Looking for a dual fan and heater for a small room, then you should try the Douhe 2-In-1 Space Heater. It is small enough to place on tabletops and desks. During the summer you can switch it to a fan mode to stay cool. Compared to using the two heat modes in the winter to stay warm.

In my living room I am currently using the Dr. Infrared Heater Portable Space Heater with a Humidifier. It really does work well in large rooms. I honestly feel like it helps heat up the rest of my house without a lot of effort and energy. I can set the timer up to 12 hours until it automatically just shuts off. I love that it has a built-in humidifier so I’m not just staying in a stuffy room with low humidity.

  • Works well in large rooms
  • Built-in humidifier to produce mist helping dry winter air
  • Built-in overheat protection
  • Timer works up to 12 hours until automatic shut-off

If I had a bigger house, then I would totally buy a Lasko Low Silent Room Heater. My dad used to tell me about him having baseboard heaters in his apartment during his young days. He said that they are the best kind of heater you can buy in cold places like Chicago or New York.

Get a fashionable design and easy-to-use space heater, then check out the Honeywell UberHeat Ceramic Heater. It looks great on desk or on night stands. Heat up your area with this modern designed space heater. It is even small enough to bring into an office or place on any tabletop. Compared to the Douhe 2-In-1 Space Heater, it is just a heater. But works very well to heat up the room and save you money on your energy bill.

The Duraflame Maxwell Electric Stove with Heater reminds me of a little fireplace. I think it is really cute and works well in living rooms. If you have kids or any pets you don’t have to worry about them burning themselves, because it stays cool to the touch.

I’ve discovered a sweet deal on this expensive space heater on Amazon. The Honeywell Heat Genius Ceramic Heater is perfect for small areas and living rooms. It has six heating settings and is easily to move from room-to-room.
